Wattle Reserve

Inclusive play, coastal character and community connection come together in the revitalisation of Wattle Reserve.

Developed in collaboration with Council and informed by engagement with local residents and nearby schools, the design introduces diverse play experiences, improved connections and opportunities for people of different ages and abilities to enjoy the reserve together.

Existing shade structures, memorial seating and views towards the coast are retained and enhanced, complemented by additional shade planting, nature-based play and a bespoke multi-play feature. Durable, sustainable and heat-responsive materials support a landscape designed for long-term community use.

The project is currently in the construction phase.
