Verdun Roundabout

CLOVER worked with Adelaide Hills Council to revitalise the Verdun Roundabout, creating a landscape that reflects the character and productive history of the surrounding Adelaide Hills.

Drawing inspiration from the area’s viticulture, agriculture and orchards, the design uses distinctive planting, colour and seasonal variation to create a strong sense of place and an engaging experience for passing vehicles.

The project formed part of a broader program of roundabout upgrades across Crafers, Piccadilly and Verdun, with each location responding to its own local landscape and identity. DPTI was a key stakeholder throughout the design and documentation process, ensuring the landscape achieved the desired visual impact while meeting road safety and visibility requirements.
