Unley Road Tree Strategy

CLOVER worked with the City of Unley to develop a practical tree planting toolkit responding to the diverse streets, parks and urban conditions found across the Council area.

The strategy explored different street and park typologies, identifying the opportunities, constraints and design considerations that influence successful tree planting in established urban environments. These considerations were translated into clear illustrations, helping communicate complex issues including available space, infrastructure, services and competing streetscape requirements.

Designed as both a technical and engagement resource, the toolkit supports Council in planning future tree planting while helping the community better understand the opportunities and challenges involved in growing and maintaining a healthy urban forest.
