Stirling Coventry Library Lawns
CLOVER has collaborated extensively with the Community Co-design Group, consisting of local community members formed with the assistance of Council, to enable a community-led design process to develop the masterplan for the Library Lawns. This inclusive approach involved a comprehensive program of engagement sessions and workshops with various stakeholder groups from the project’s inception to its later stages of design.
Â
Through this co-design process, we uncovered the significance and uniqueness of the library lawns as a pivotal civic space within Stirling. The resulting master plan reflects a community-led response, encapsulating the essence of Stirling. It delivers a multi-functional, flexible, and vibrant civic heart for the Stirling community and beyond.
Â
COVER worked closely with councils Reconciliation Action Group throughout the process to ensure Aboriginal Culture was acknowledged and celebrated through a yarning circle incorporating language and story telling connecting to the library and indigenous authors.
