Robe Cemetery Action Plan

CLOVER developed a landscape masterplan for the historic Robe Cemetery, balancing the heritage character and significance of the site with its ongoing use, management and future needs.

The masterplan explored the cemetery as both a significant heritage landscape and an important place of remembrance, identifying opportunities to strengthen its character while carefully managing change. Key considerations included significant views and vistas, vegetation management, access and circulation, carparking, future expansion areas, potential lookouts and memorial gardens.

A practical implementation framework translated the masterplan into a clear pathway for future improvements. Priority actions were supported by key considerations, indicative budgets and levels of importance, enabling works to be staged over time while protecting the qualities that make the Robe Cemetery a distinctive and valued place.
