Littlehampton Greening
CLOVER led the Littlehampton Greening Project for Mount Barker District Council, bringing together a series of streetscape, park and open space improvements designed to strengthen the landscape character, amenity and community spaces of the growing Adelaide Hills township.
Â
The project encompassed three key areas — Littlehampton’s main street, Miels Park and The Glebe. Along the main street, new footpaths, street trees and garden planting were integrated with stormwater and irrigation infrastructure to create a greener, more comfortable and connected streetscape. The adjoining Miels Park was also significantly upgraded, with improvements to car parking, park facilities and court access, together with a new war memorial.

As lead consultant and Landscape Architect, CLOVER coordinated the wider consultant team and worked across landscape, civil infrastructure, services and road interfaces. CLOVER also provided superintendent services during construction of the main street works, navigating delivery through the challenges of peak COVID conditions and coordinating approvals and handovers with Council, SA Water and DIT.
Together, the projects establish a long-term greening framework for Littlehampton, connecting streets, parks and community spaces while supporting the township’s continued growth.
