Heysen Gallery – The Cedars

Set within the historic home and studio of Hans and Nora Heysen, the new Heysen Gallery at The Cedars required a landscape response that respects the heritage, artistic legacy and distinctive character of this significant Adelaide Hills property.

 

Working with Beyond Ink Architects, CLOVER developed a considered, site-responsive landscape approach that integrates naturally with the existing setting while enhancing the visitor experience. Greening, paving, and irrigation were carefully considered to provide a durable, water-sensitive design and a naturalistic planting character reflecting the surrounding landscape.

Planting will be introduced over the coming years when funding becomes available.
