Gawler Street East

CLOVER developed a streetscape concept for the next stage of Gawler Street East in Mount Barker, helping Council establish a clear and practical framework for future improvements to this important town centre street.

The concept explored opportunities for new street trees, garden areas, seating and lighting alongside improvements to footpaths, driveways and pedestrian connections. Existing underground services and vehicle movements were carefully considered to identify where additional greening and amenity could be introduced while maintaining the everyday function and accessibility of the street.

With future delivery in mind, CLOVER also prepared preliminary costings and a staged implementation plan, providing Mount Barker District Council with a practical pathway for progressively delivering the upgrade and supporting future funding and budget submissions.

The result is a considered streetscape strategy that balances character, greening, movement and amenity with the realities of working within an established urban environment.
