Adelaide Park Lands Trail Rest Stops
Improving accessibility along Adelaide’s iconic 19.2-kilometre Park Lands Trail is at the heart of this City of Adelaide project.
CLOVER developed design guidelines and context-responsive concepts for a network of rest stops positioned at strategic intervals around the trail. Guided by the City’s Disability Access and Inclusion Plan, the project embeds Universal Design principles to support people of different ages and abilities, including people with disability and their carers.
The resulting strategy creates a recognisable identity for the rest stops while allowing each to respond to the varied landscape character of the Adelaide Park Lands, providing a practical framework for future implementation.
