Percy Street Park

An outback-inspired playspace brings a distinctly South Australian story to the upgrade of Percy Street Park in Prospect.

Drawing inspiration from the nearby site of the first RM Williams boot shop and the brand’s connection with the Flinders Ranges, CLOVER developed a playful landscape incorporating swings, monkey bars and a multi-play structure alongside new shade, seating, picnic facilities, drinking fountain and tree planting.

The compact reserve also functions as an off-leash dog area, requiring careful planning to allow play and dog recreation to comfortably coexist. Fencing, pathways, planting and clearly defined activity zones provide separation while maintaining the park’s open and welcoming character.

Community engagement undertaken by the City of Prospect helped shape the play equipment and amenities, ensuring the renewed reserve responds to the needs of local families and park users.
