LCA West Lakes

CLOVER is contributing landscape architecture services to Living Choice West Lakes, a premium retirement living development set within the WEST master-planned community in Adelaide’s western suburbs.

The eight-level development will provide 110 independent living apartments supported by an extensive range of shared resident facilities, including wellness, recreation, dining and social spaces. The landscape approach responds to this contemporary vertical living environment, bringing greenery, amenity and a strong sense of place to the development while supporting comfortable, connected and active lifestyles for residents.

Landscape design considers the relationship between the building, resident communal areas and surrounding public realm, with an emphasis on accessible movement, shade, seasonal interest and low-maintenance planting suited to the coastal conditions of West Lakes. Greening around outdoor gathering and recreation spaces will help create inviting places for residents to relax, meet and connect throughout the year.

Located on the corner of Norman Road and Turner Drive, the project forms part of a highly connected neighbourhood with access to walking and cycling networks, recreation, shopping, golf and the West Lakes waterfront. The landscape will contribute to this broader setting while establishing a distinctive residential character and welcoming arrival for the new community.
