CLOVER was the Landscape Architect within a collaborative team with Design Strategy Architecture, Includesign and Beyond Housing for the Victorian Future Homes initiative, exploring innovative, affordable and sustainable models for medium-density housing.

Landscape was integral to the proposal, with green façades, cascading planters, generous tree planting, permeable paving, community gardens and shared outdoor spaces woven throughout the development. The design considered soil volumes, biodiversity, urban cooling, accessibility and opportunities for residents to connect with nature and each other.

Following the competition, the team continued working with Beyond Housing to adapt the Future Homes model for a site in Shepparton, responding to local conditions while maintaining the principles of affordability, sustainability and social inclusion.
