Existing trees and open space provide the landscape framework for this new residential development at Dorset Street in Murray Bridge, creating an opportunity to establish a green and connected neighbourhood from the outset.

CLOVER is working with Metro Homes SA and the project team to integrate streets, housing, open space, recreation and stormwater within a cohesive landscape masterplan. Retention of significant existing trees is a key priority, with road layouts, services and drainage carefully coordinated to protect established vegetation and make it a defining feature of the development.

Connected parks and walking trails will provide places for recreation, play, gathering and everyday movement, supported by generous tree planting for shade and climate resilience. The landscape strategy also incorporates screening to adjoining industrial areas, accessible connections, locally responsive planting and Water Sensitive Urban Design to capture and use stormwater within the landscape.

Together, these elements will create a greener and more liveable residential setting that reflects the character of Murray Bridge while supporting community connection, biodiversity and long-term environmental resilience.
