Set within the Birdwood Oval sporting complex, this new playspace will transform an underutilised playground into a more adventurous and engaging recreation space for the local community.

CLOVER worked with Adelaide Hills Council to develop a design catering for a broad range of ages and abilities, combining traditional play opportunities with a new pump track that weaves between existing trees and across the site’s natural embankments.

The design makes greater use of the landscape and topography of the site, creating opportunities for active play, exploration and recreation while strengthening the playspace’s connection with the broader sporting precinct.
