Portside Christian College ELC

CLOVER worked closely with Portside Christian College to deliver the landscape design for this important outdoor learning and social space, creating a campus environment that extends learning beyond the classroom. Designed to support students throughout the school day, the landscape provides a variety of spaces for reading, laptop use, informal gatherings, outdoor learning and recreation, encouraging collaboration, creativity and student wellbeing.
Â
Working with DesignInc Adelaide, CLOVER prepared concept options, detailed documentation and construction support to deliver a coordinated design outcome. A strong environmental focus connects the campus to the adjacent Port River through water sensitive urban design, promoting stormwater infiltration while incorporating native coastal planting that reflects the local landscape. Inspired by contemporary educational principles that value curiosity, exploration and student-centred learning, the outdoor spaces foster meaningful connections with nature and provide flexible environments that support learning, social interaction and a strong sense of place.
